It appears that dredging has started.  The permit paperwork indicates:

• work should begin at the Little Spider Lake to Clear Lake channel and move to the Big Spider to Little Spider channel
• all work must be done by October 1

There has been no communication from the contractor or the permit holder that the work plan or schedule will be different than what is in the permit paperwork.
