Issues are defined, solutions researched and choices made.  The committees then make proposals to the Board of Supervisors who, as elected officials, make the final decision.  Committees need the time and talents of the community to make the best choices for the Town.  You can participate as a member (contact the committee chair) or you can attend committee meetings that address issues of particular concern to you (sign up to receive meeting notices and agendas)

Supervisors and the Chair of the Board of Supervisors serve two year terms.  Two supervisors are elected in odd years and the Chair and the two other supervisors are elected in even years.  The Clerk and Treasurer each serve two years and are elected in odd years.  Contact any elected official to understand the responsibilities of the job.  Contact the Clerk to declare your candidacy.
